Terms of Service

Last updated: September 7, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Epoxy Advisor.AI (the "Service"), a planning and estimating tool for epoxy floor coating projects. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Is

Epoxy Advisor.AI generates estimated material lists, equipment lists, cost ranges, and installation guidance based on information you provide about your floor. All output is an estimate created from general industry data and the answers you enter. It is not a quote, a contract, an engineering report, or a professional inspection.

2. No Professional or Contractor Relationship

Using the Service does not create a contractor, engineer, or consultant relationship. We do not inspect your slab, test moisture, or verify site conditions. Where the Service recommends a professional installation or moisture testing, you are responsible for engaging a qualified licensed professional.

3. Estimates, Pricing, and Availability

Product prices, rental rates, coverage rates, and regional pro-install ranges shown in the Service are estimates that change over time and vary by supplier, market, and machine availability. You must confirm current pricing, product availability, coverage rates, and mixing instructions with the supplier and the manufacturer's technical data sheet before purchasing or applying any product.

4. Safety and Assumption of Risk

Concrete grinding and epoxy application involve real hazards, including respirable crystalline silica dust, chemical fumes, skin and eye irritation, heat generation during cure, and slip hazards. You are solely responsible for following all manufacturer safety data sheets, using proper personal protective equipment, providing ventilation, and complying with applicable local codes and regulations. You assume all risk arising from work you perform yourself.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

6. Your Content

Project details, saved reports, and checklists you create remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service, including sending it to AI providers to generate answers and recommendations for you.

7. AI-Generated Output

Portions of the Service use AI models. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect, and it may not reflect a specific manufacturer's current instructions. Always defer to the product label and technical data sheet over anything the Service tells you.

8. Referrals and Affiliate Relationships

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When the Service builds a tool list for your job, it can send that list to Amazon as a single pre-filled shopping cart. If you buy through it, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Nothing is added to your cart until you confirm it on Amazon's own page, and you are free to buy the same tools anywhere you like.

Tool and equipment costs shown in the Service are our own estimates of a typical price range. They are not quotes from Amazon or any other retailer, and they are not live prices. Check the retailer for the current price before you buy.

We do not send coatings, resins, or other materials to Amazon. Those come from the suppliers shown in your materials report, and we may earn a commission or referral fee there as well. When you request a professional quote we sell your contact information and project details to one local contractor, who pays us to receive them; if no contractor in your area buys the request, our own coatings team receives it instead. Section 2 of the Privacy Policy sets this out in full. Vendor rankings reflect suitability for your stated project conditions, but commercial relationships may exist with vendors shown. We do not employ, supervise, or guarantee the work of any third-party contractor or supplier.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that estimates will match actual costs or that any coating will perform as expected on your slab.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits, wasted materials, coating failure, delamination, property damage, or personal injury arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your installation work, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes and Termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. Material changes take effect when posted on this page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact options in the app.
