A personal favor

I built a thing.
Will you break it for me?

It is called Epoxy Advisor. You tell it about your garage floor and it works out exactly what you would need to coat it: which products, how much, what it costs, and whether you should be doing it yourself at all. If you would rather hire it out, it tells you what that should cost near you and what a proper quote ought to include.

It is in beta, which is a polite way of saying parts of it are probably wrong. That is what I need you for. You do not need to know anything about epoxy. Honestly it is better if you do not.

Takes about five minutes. You do not have to sign up for anything.

Open Epoxy Advisor

It opens in a new tab. Have a play, then come back to this tab and tell me what you thought.

A garage floor finished in flake epoxy, lightly speckled
Flake. Hides dust and tire marks.
A garage floor finished in metallic epoxy, glossy with a marbled pattern
Metallic. Shows off, and shows everything.

Then tell me how it went

Tap the answers. Skip any that do not apply. It is all useful.

Which did you pick on the first screen?

Phone or computer?

How far did you get?

Did you talk to the AI advisor?

The robot at the bottom of the screen. It asks a question and you can type back.

Did the numbers look believable?

Did anything confuse you?

Did anything look broken?

Would you use this for a real floor?

Anything else?

Be blunt. It helps a lot more than being nice does.

Who is this? Optional

Thanks for doing this. I owe you one.
